Bookkeeper/Office Manager

SF Door & Hardware, an exciting,?new?company?which is a?supplier of all leading door and hardware, who delivers high quality product to satisfied homeowners and businesses, is seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager.? Reporting to the Principal, this critical, highly visible position is essential to successful operations.

Responsibilities include:

-Front Office, Office Manager, General Administration and Bookkeeper responsibilities.

-Monthly bank reconciliations for both checking and credit card accounts.

-Weekly billing to clients of contract costs and change orders.

-Bi Weekly payroll.

-Remitting timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers with contract administration.

-Distributing bid sets to subs and following up to receive their bids.

-Preparing contracts for estimates prepared by management.

-Track job costs to prepare a profit and loss per job.

-Preparing worker's comp payroll reports and preparing for an audit in the event of one.

-Ensuring all business licenses, taxes and monthly payments are kept up to date.?

-Collecting insurance certificates, W9's and documents from all sub contractors.

-Ensuring all job site postings meet Cal OSHA requirements.

-Tax prep, for both individual and SCorp tax returns.

-Filing and paying all necessary tax installments by their due date.

Requirements include:

?- 3-5 years prior bookkeeping or administrative experience desired, experience in the construction or design industry a definite plus.

-Bachelor's degree or?equivalent (in a relevant course; Accounting, Finance, Construction Management etc.).

-Must be competent in the use of QuickBooks and 5+ years Bookeeper/office management experience.

-Familiarity with the operations of a general contracting business and business documents.

-Prior accounting and bookkeeper experience a must.

-Strong interpersonal skills with a strong work ethic.

-?Be able to multi task with various elements in the office environment.

-Proven team worker, capable multitasker and problem solver.?

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
